Xaxim panels are walls designed to mimic the natural environment of terrarium animals.
Derived from tree fern, Xaxim helps your reptiles and amphibians feel right at home by mimicking their natural environment. These panels can also be used to create hiding places and climbing surfaces, encouraging natural behavior and promoting both physical and mental health. The different textures and reliefs on the panels provide climbing and hiding opportunities, enriching the habitat.
Xaxim panels are easy to install and maintain. They can be attached to the back wall or laid down in the enclosure. Resistant to moisture and requiring no maintenance, Xaxim panels are very popular in paladariums. They pair well with other natural hiding places such as apple wood caves and coconuts.
Xaxim, also known as fern root, is derived from the tree fern. Over time, Xaxim develops a solid, stem-like structure, which is then cut into sheets to create Xaxim panels.
