The SH-1 is a sound suppressor for the moving bed filters ZB-150F, ZB-200F, and ZB-300F.

The SH-1 should be placed on the top of the moving bed filters ZB-150F, ZB-200F, and ZB-300F. The "silencer" reduces bubble noise and decreases water movement. The outlet should be submerged, adjustable by a rotary wheel.

ZM-1 Filter Media 1L

The ZM-1 filter media lasts for 15 years and is a very durable filter media. The filter is also known as the 'moving bed filter'. This means that the filter media are continuously moved, resulting in an even better breakdown rate of contaminating substances.

The large amounts of air pumped into the filter cause degassing of these waste substances. This ensures that the biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) and chemical oxygen values remain low. These values indicate the amount of oxygen needed to break down organic waste particles present in the aquarium. The lower these values, the cleaner the water in the aquarium. The operation of this filter results in a significant delay in algae formation, keeping the aquarium clean!
